Metro® by T-Mobile wanted to give you a heads-up that we are making some changes to the device protection program you’re enrolled in. The notification you received outlines the changes to your plan and includes your new coverage documents, which provide the full coverage details. There is no action required from you to continue enjoying the same peace of mind you do today.

Good news! Metro by T-Mobile is updating the cost structure of their device protection programs based on device tier, and for some customers, this will mean a lower monthly cost; for the rest, costs will stay the same. The personalized letter you received outlines the changes to your plan. The new coverage documents that accompanied the letter provide you with the full coverage details.

Good news! All deductibles per approved claim are lower and they’re based on device tier and type of loss. Check out the table below with the new deductibles. Your plan changes will take effect on October 10, 2023. The effective date of this change will be shown on your Metro by T-Mobile account statement during this period. You may also just dial *611 from your Metro phone, or give us a call at 888-8metro8 on or after October 10, 2023, to determine the status of your plan changes. Additionally, You can log in at www.metrobyt-mobile.com/my-account and confirm the status of the changes.

Good news! The process for filing a claim is still the same. The easiest way to file a claim is by visiting www.mymetroclaim.com and using your mobile number to get started.
